On The Road Again

Dean and Sue Stokka lived in Culver City several life-times ago, but moved to Kingman a few years ago. Julia and Sue communicate by e-mail on a regular basis. Sue has asked for us to visit them. Since we were in Flagstaff, which is just around the corner from them, about 150 miles, we decided to take them up on their invitation. Since Julia's road trip with MariLouise, she found that she likes to stay in hotels. So, we drove to Kingman the day before and stayed in a "big" room with a "big" shower. We could let the hot water run for a long time without it getting cold!

Sue and Julia caught up with each other. Dean and I got to know each other. His models and more than pictures and plastic cars. Each model represents a real car he owned in the past. Kingman is in the desert and is rather hot. Dean is having fun growing a garden. He has had to protect some of the plants from the sun.

Back in Flagstaff, we watched a fish in the pool. No, I guess it is Sophia. Chris and Angela are introducing her to different activities. She seems to enjoy them.

Do you think Sophia likes the camera? She does love her grandma and the feeling is returned many times over.

There are many precious things in this world that God has created. We believe that Sophia should be on the top of that list.
