On The Road Again

For our 31st anniversary, Julia, wanted something different. After her "road trip" with MariLouise, she has liked staying in hotels.

So, we spent two nights in a nice hotel and didn't even go to the RV at all during that time.

As you can see, she couldn't get away from her "job" while we were on "vacation". When mama is happy, everyone is happy!

Flying W Ranch is above Colorado Springs. It was setup to show what a town back in the early 1900's would look. Julia and I found a "home" we liked.

They had dug a tunnel for a short train ride for tourist. It worked, we rode it. Julia caught me talking to my brother, Jim.

After walking around for a couple of hours and visiting way too many "tourist traps", it was time to sit down for dinner and the entertainment. The meal was OK, but the entertainment was very good. Julia and I met Linda and Carol, two school teachers from the area who work at the ranch a couple of times a week. This was their free night. Julia and they had a lot to talk about.
